Bea from Magnolia BMX filmed and edited a video of the girls runs from the Toronto BMX Jam 2012.
“Holy shit. If there wasn’t a crowd of people, I would have cried and I know I’m not alone in this! I don’t remember much, but a small video is in the works. The competition was intense between Angie Marino and Peta Shepherd. Peta started out with back to back tricks, including a nothing over the box, to foot jam whip. A downside whip to disaster, no handed vader and a bar hump were some of the moves on her trick list. I requested the bar hump myself.

As soon as you thought Peta had it in the bag, Angie came out blasting a huge air on the 12ft quarter and backflipped over the box. The first attempt didn’t work but Angie just started laughing after she crashed. The first backflip attempt got the audience pumped, with a few seconds of rest, Angie returned and completed the backflip she set out for. The crowd was roaring.”
